China joins Galileo Project

A contract between the National Center for Remote Sensing and Galileo
Navigation Satellite Co. Ltd. regarding the implementation of the
"Cooperative Agreement on the Galileo Project of the National Center for
Remote Sensing of China and the Galileo Joint Undertaking" was signed on
March 9th in Beijing. The execution of this agreement symbolizes the
concrete implementation of rights and responsibilities for China's
participation in the Galileo Program, a European civilian use,
navigational satellite project organized by the European Union Commission
and the European Space Agency.
